Jones was elected to the OMPA Board of Directors in 2019, shortly after he took over as City Manager at Altus. He previously served as State Auditor and Inspector under Gov. Mary Fallin from 2011-2014, as well as Chair of the Oklahoma Republican Party from 2007-2010 and as Comanche County Commissioner
from 1994-1998. Jones’ Board term runs to 2025.
